Hi Eddy,
Yes correct... This results in a really hot smartphone and where I need to connect the phone to charger, because of this 'battery draining' activity
My inbox has 14000 items and I'm the first to acknowledge that I don't need all my items.
I could decide to move items to another folder, but "hey that's where the beta is for I guess" To discover potential improvements :)I also have another suggestion, but will post it in a new comment (it relates to default sync behavior for all folders)
It's up to the developers to decide what to do with this.
And yes more options on sync window will likely resolve my problem as well

I have a workaround :o)
First add a custom box in the combined view.
The custom box would be pointing to an 'inbox'Add the widget and select the custom box.
Hope this will help, while the great developers are finding a solution.

I can confirm, that I have this issue as well, BUT only with the INbox.
If I would select for instance the 'unread' or 'star', I can create the widget! -

I haven't encountered any crash after I created an account. So this can be closed.

I tend agree with HWA.Labout
I support the fact that selecting an account would expand the account folder structure (which is already the case AND put focus on the account's inbox)I doesn't feel right to perform two actions to get the inbox view when switching to another account

0.7.1 has speed improvements that should make the folder list refresh much faster.

Ok... I've removed my account and and re-added it and set "days to sync" to ALL.
This syncs a bit of my email, but not the recent ones.
When I switch back "days to sync" to One month... recent emails gets in.
switching back "days to sync" to ALL, then no recent emails comes in.
