    Fixed  ·  Eddy Witkamp responded

Please look again, there is a very nice 3×3 widget available that let’s you select any folder you want.

  3. Have the ability to turn off Smart folder

Have the ability to disable smart folders in exchange. If you have several folders/sub-folders with the same name it is confusing when they are moved.

  4. A sent email should not affect the order of a conversation in your inbox

Currently, when you respond to an email with conversation mode enabled, the conversation then appears at the top of your inbox. I don't think any other email client with conversation sorting handles it this way. A response should not move that email to the top of your inbox. It should remain in chronological order based on the last email you received.

  5. Improve IMAP Idle notification

The IMAP notification speed using the IMAP Idle extension is really slow compared other mail client client e.g. K9 Mail. The notification in Boxer is fired 5 seconds after K9Mail.

  8. Manual configuration of email accounts

What i would like most of all is to see some kind of manual setup button when adding an account. If you hunt around online, you can find exchange activesync settings for hotmail, which allows push emails from hotmail, and which i have been using in EE, but because it's a hotmail account boxer just auto fills all the server settings, and they're different enough to prevent me from changing the settings manually after account creation.

  9. Improve the Add Account experience

I'm not sure if this would be considered a "bug" but the new Add Account screen has some design flaws.

In previous versions, simply putting in my username and password was enough to add a Gmail account to the app. It would automatically determine my outgoing name, and the account name was just the email address by default. Having auto-discovered values for this made the initial setup much quicker, and I could still easily change the values if I needed to.

Also, the purpose of those fields was much more clear in the previous version. "Name" is ambiguous - there's…
