Ability to change the "Like" message
it could just be a single emoji  or :thumbs-up:
I agree with others that I couldn't possibly use this feature when it includes an app-specific promotion. But I also think customizing the message could be fun. For example, it could just be a single emoji  or :thumbs-up:, kind of like Slack's emoji reaction feature, which people really enjoy.

I could not agree more with Shawn below - I often do growth hacking and other digital marketing, but this is unethical beyond the pale. Especially when I'm a customer (who has paid for the app) and not just a user getting something for free.

I'm a new user who thought the app was awesome enough after 10 minutes of use that I bought the pro+exchange bundle. I do what I can to help developers out.
However, you've lost a bit of that good will with that subversive method of advertising, growth hacking or whatever you want to call it.
There are far better and more transparent ways to get users to help you spread your apps message and use, based on the merits of the app and the value it provides.
Letting folks know about the like feature in you description and other copy is great. Not mentioning the app reference as part of the message that gets sent is just poor form. It not only casts you in a negative light, it makes you seem dishonest (even if it is not true) and will end turn away the very people you are looking to have spread the good word about Boxer.
I get the need to advertise and grow, but please do the "right" thing and let those that have paid the app have a customizable like message.
Even with the CyanogenMod announcement, and the significant increase to your subscriber base, if this isn't fixed, I'll go back to the free Outlook, CloudMagic or other email clients that I paid for that are a but more honest with their users.
Thanks for reading.

As others say, it needs to have customize ability to it

I absolutely agree, the stock "Like" message is inappropriate for business. I just bought BOXER for Exchange. As a test and to learn about the "Like" feature (because, I believe that could be a very helpful feature) I "Like-ed" an email from a contact that I was doing business with.. had know idea the message was "liked your message with Boxer for Android." WTH. I know you want to promote your app, but C'Mon Man!!
Customers that pay the $9.99 for Exchange, should be able to customize the "Like" message and should have HTML Signatures.
The "Like" button serves very little if any purpose without the ability to customize the response - recipients unfamiliar with Boxer don't understand what the stock "Like" message means, and it is not appropriate for use with professional email accounts given the current message text. That said, its a cool idea and potentially very useful for acknowledging receipt of emails, so with more customization it could be a really nice feature.
This is a must for professional services
