I would love to see this feature too.
I also use different mail apps. So it is impotant to have the ability to choose the default folders. -

it is very important for IMAP accounts we should be able to redirect the msgs as we want exactly as outlook

Very important – even more so to play nice with Apple's Mail.app

I consider this very important in order to work seamlessly with existing IMAP accounts, too.

I am having issues with my sent emails. I can't find them. I'd like to be able to bcc all my emails and also choose which folder my sent emails go to.

this would be absolutely great. sent folder never matches the one on my IMAP server which is very annoying.

This would be a great feature. The sent mail folder almost never chooses the correct IMAP sent mail folder. Would hands down lead me to use Boxer all the time.

+1 being able to choose the Archive folder. Also, allow us to choose the Boxer/To-Do folder.

would be great if we could have this, that way we can map the folders on the server to the boxes that are created by Boxer

It's a really vital idea i think. Just bought Boxer and i am massively disappointed because i can't do this. I wouldn't recommend this app until they allow for the manual configuration of default folders. As different servers have different folder structures everybody with more than one mailaccount should be able to configure his preferred folders himself. If this isn't fixed, this app is just useless. Many competing apps have this feature (free ones too), so why isn't it implemented already???

Would be nice if Boxer could prioritize that idea. Currently I'm focussing the problem that my drafts are always being stored in the "Drafts" folder but my e-mail service provider (a german one) uses the "Entwürfe" (German word for drafts) as the drafts folder. Like that I have always a mix of different "drafts" folder and it's hard to keep track on it.

Also, the "Archive" folder. The default in Thunderbird has been "Archives" for many years. Why would Boxer not use the same or allow users to choose? I see this as a severe shortcoming that urgently needs to be addressed.
