Application Level Security Policy

Came here to see if it was time to finally switch from EE to Boxer. Apparently not since the entire reason I use EE is because of the bypass policy support EE has had for ages. Sorry guys, this is a no go for me without that feature.

Seems obvious this feature isn't coming. Too busy with a calendar app I suppose. Both N9ine and Mailwise are killer apps and both have this feature.

To all those wondering how they can get app level security for their Exchange email...
do what I did, and just go buy Nine in the Play store.Way better support, interface is nice, not had a single problem with it since I switched from Enhanced Email.
Boxer team: you guys should get your act together; came back here after receiving an email that you had a brand new product out today, but no time to implement a feature we *used to have* in EE... *bad! bad developers!*

Planned for September 2014. It is now July 2015. Gantt chart slipping???
This is really annoying and little to no response from Boxer admins. -

This wait is getting a little ridiculous. You've found the time to have developers start a whole new product, but not address this?

Anything?, Last Update was Nov 12 2014 is this going to be implemented or not? (On the fence about buying Nine email client which supports this and has for a while)

One month to go to celebrate one year without adequate response to this suggestion. And tomorrow it will be ten months status *planned* without a rough time line for implementation. - hooray!

@Eddy Witkamp, @Boxer Support: it's been a while. How about an update? Like most people here I was promised by the EE dev that something like this would be coming to Boxer. Boxer is wholly useless to me without this.

Please let us know when you find an Android app that is an appropriate replacement for the good old Enhanced Email.

Since a security policy has to be applied for your Exchange/Microsoft licensing, I'd rather it be application level over device level. This keeps me from using your product and disappointed you acquired Enhanced Email, an Android app that had this function.
I've been an EE user for years because it allowed you to disable the security policy. Now I have to have to look elsewhere since Boxer's acquisition killed further development of EE.

+1, it's the only reason that stops me from buying this application

This is the only feature stopping me using Boxer, any update on this as well?

Any news or eta on this request?

Come on guys - I've paid $14.99 for an app to look at email on my terms. What is the ETA for this to be completed? I'm at a point where I'd rather go back to EE, even though Boxer has the potential to be a better overall app. Surely an ETA or some kind of correspondence is warranted with 255 votes???

I was the first user paid for EE because of the Exchange policy options... would not move from EE to Boxer until it provides the same feature

This feature was one of the reasons that I went to EE. Because it is not in Boxer, I have had to go to Nine. As soon as you add this to Boxer, I'm dropping Nine like a hot potato. This is holding back a lot of EE users from making the complete switch to Boxer. This really needs to be a higher priority.

Chiming in as well. I'll ditch Nine as soon as application level security comes to Boxer.

I've just disabled all Exchange policies relating to my account and disabled/deleted/reinstalled Boxer - yet the lockscreen is still forcing me to use a pin - I suspect that there may be a bug in the code as the Boxer app does not appear to honour the actual Excahnge policies in place. Can you please confirm this is current behaviour?
