unable to login to the boxer after update to 6.0 (280) with passcode enable.
resolve solution: delete / install app again BUT it needs to re-enter all the email account.
Error message like : unable to read the database or it is not a database

Update can't read the database with a very hard to read error saying something like it is encrypted. Goes into a very fast restart loop and finally closes out

Also experiencing this. Every other update has been fine.
App crashes complaining about invalid database. Error message to reset the database flashes and cannot be pressed. App then just closes and the process repeats.
I can't even get my email to work after deleting and installing the app again. Ugh!

Problems persist with impossibility to have e Mail on hotmail since last update. Freeze of the app when I want to quit inbox. Useless. Can we return to previous version? Or just forget boxer pro?
Extremely unhappy with this. Having invested in Pro version (which worked well) am now expected to resubmit all details. Really poor service.
Just updated to v6.0.1 and getting the same login error as others here have noted. I do NOT wish to delete the app and re-enter all my email accounts. Please fix!

Totally agree with Andi. Please fix and send an update. 'Delete everything' strategy is not acceptable!
This is ridiculous. It would have been easy to pull the update when they discovered the bug. Almost as easy to update the description and give people a warning. Instead, what do we get? Don't worry, there is a workaround. Deleting everything is not a workaround!
Seriously!!?? Great regression testing! Following your workaround I now have to manually reconfigure a dozen email accounts which were configured for custom everything.
If this were the first time your app had done something like this it might be understandable, but it isn't. Not to mention that this also isn't some $.99 app.
This issue needs to be resolved immediately. Basically this error has shut down all access to my email accounts. Pushing out a new release with a major bug like this is unacceptable!
same problem here (iPad AND iPhone): seems to be an issue with Passcode Lock.
Error message says:
Your Boxer database appears to be unreadable (file is encrypted or is not a database). Exit Boxer and try again, or start with a fresh database.
Options: Start fresh | Exit
There isn't a possibility to choose even one of the options as it disappears very quickly after typing in the passcode. Then the passcode page disappears and the Error appears 10 times (very short) before the app crashes.
Please fix, I (and maybe more users :-) ) don't want to reconfigure all the accounts.
