Still no support for SMTP servers that have no authentication
My ISP only allows me to use their SMTP server when I am connected to the Internet at home. As a result it requires no password authentication, as my ISP knows that I have connected securely through my router. Boxer does not allow me to set up an account with a SMTP server that doesn't require a password. I know it's possible as the native Apple Mail app allows me to do so. I complained about this oversight well over a year ago, and was assured that it was high on the developers list to fix. Now, several iterations later, I am still unable to use my ISP email correctly in an app which is, in most other respects, the best mail app out there.
