Manual configuration of email accounts
What i would like most of all is to see some kind of manual setup button when adding an account. If you hunt around online, you can find exchange activesync settings for hotmail, which allows push emails from hotmail, and which i have been using in EE, but because it's a hotmail account boxer just auto fills all the server settings, and they're different enough to prevent me from changing the settings manually after account creation.

The current Beta app now has a manual setup option.

Manual setup for a personal IMAP account has always been available...."Please tell me where.
No chance to setup an account without entering email&password.
When i enter my adress an pw the account gets created automatiicly with wrong settings.
I want to setup my account from tip to toe completly manual. -

Seriously?
I updated recently to CM12 stock from CM11 stock. And I cant even read my mails via IMAP, because you guys just didnt implement this feature? Wow. Well done.
AND I JUST SAW, THIS THREAD IS FROM 2014! -

Eddy, that's totally fair, but if the user paid for the Exchange version of the app, they should be able to add an email address using Exchange.
The request is just for a method to skip the forced auto detect and just to use completely manual settings, as was available in Enhanced Email.

My server login email address is different from the email address I use. With Boxer there is no way for the account email address to be different from the login. Manual account setup like EE had allowed the return email address to be different from the server login credentials.

You can work around it currently by setting your email to something other than @hotmail.com when setting up. Once it starts to auto detect, hit cancel and enter in the m.hotmai.com server and change your login name back to @hotmail.com. You now have activesync on your Hotmail account, although the account name will be incorrect in Boxer. Hopefully they'll add this change.

Fair enough for auto configuration, but still, allowing me to specify a manual config and set it up myself would be good. Not sure about others, but this is pretty much a must have for me.
